From the point of view of their target groups generic standards according to ISO, EN, DIN & Co. appear to have limited benefits. They are usually developed in order to meet the minimum requirements across many industries and thus to be applicable generically. This approach consciously allows gaps in terms of industries and/or functional areas, which can not always be closed by the the implementation teams in the course of individual implementation projects.

From the point of view of many companies, those gaps between theory and practice often lead to significant contraints up to the refusal of a certification.

Furthermore, generic standards have so far hardly been developed in the context of a digital, innovative work environments, which limits the direct operational applicability (theory-practice transformation and direct catalysis) in daily business.

EUODI's objective is to close these gaps by developing best practices in the context of individual industries as well as the digital applicability of corporate strategies, structures, processes and leadership.
